"Years ago I wanted to see what other versions of myself are like and if you can believe it, they're all villains." — Cyrus

Cyrus is the leader of the Galactic Corporation. An alternate dimension version of Cyrus appears who is the leader of Team Galactic.

Appearance[]

Cyrus is a man with light blue hair, eyes that aren't usually wide open, and hollow cheeks. However, the style between different iterations of the character contrasts widely.

The Cyrus in Futuristic Sinnoh is noticeably softer. His eyes are relaxed and his hair is brushed down. He wears a black turtleneck and gloves. His long lab coat is white, with a few black accents around the pockets. His slacks are light gray and his shoes are black with gray stripes.

The Cyrus living in the Distortion World is much harsher. He appears to be constantly glaring and his hair is spiked up. His shirt and pants and black and segmented, like a sci-fi outfit. His vest is gray and has the Team Galactic emblem on the breast.

Personality[]

In Futuristic Sinnoh, Cyrus is a pleasant man. He is very dedicated to scientific development and helping the world. He is open with praise. He finds his villainous selves quite distasteful and strives to be completely unlike them. He has quite a few allies in his pursuit of science.

Cyrus from the Distortion World is cold and unfeeling, matching his intention to rid the world of emotion.

What If I Made a Pokémon Game?[]

Cyrus grew up with his grandparents, who helped him through the issues that led him to starting Team Galactic. Though this strong familial bond, Cyrus wasn't motivated to fall into villainy, instead choosing to focus on technological research.

At some point in the past, Cyrus founds the Galactic Corporation. He and his team started researching many subjects that led to the technological advancements of the region. Eventually, he and his team cracked the code to interdimensional travel. When exploring different dimensions, he was shocked to find that most versions of himself are villainous. After meeting his other selves, he decided to stop traveling to other dimensions.

Cyrus introduces himself almost immediately after the Ultra PC enters the Futuristic Sinnoh dimension. He explains why he's not shocked, telling them about his history with interdimensional travel. He even cites meeting an alternate version of the Ultra PC a few years prior. He sends them a map leading to the Ultra Beast, which the Galactic Corporation quarantined.

After the Ultra PC captures the Ultra Beast, Cyrus enters the power plant where it was causing havoc and congratulates them. In return, he gives them a Master Ball.

Once the mission is over, Cyrus allows the Ultra PC to come to the Galactic Corporation building whenever they want. He allows them to sit in on his meetings, chat with his guests, and receive items from them.

After the events of the main story, the Ultra PC can return to the Futuristic Sinnoh region and meet with Cyrus. In a panic, he tells them to go to Spear Pillar because he's been tracing some strange signals in the area.

Distortion World[]

Once at Spear Pillar, the Ultra PC finds a portal that takes them to the Distortion World, where they can battle a villainous version of Cyrus.
