Equarius is a legendary Pokémon from the Tuxon region. It is Water/Fairy type and is based on the unicorn.
Ability
Celestial Rain: Has a chance of curing a status effect.
PokéDex Entry
Found in the northern areas of Tuxon, this Pokémon has been sighted around the lakes and rivers. While very few people have been able to encounter this creature, many have recalled that it seems to go even further north, into an entire other region, and it brings a very pleasant mist around with it.
History
In ancient times, Equarius was caught by a man named George, who later used it to defeat Toxygen and free Tuxon from the dragon's poisonous blight. This led to the Tuxonians fighting against the Poké Romans, and the latter abandoned the region.
Story
In the events of the game's main story, the player (Elizabeth\George) is given the chance to catch Equarius after the events in Brighton Palace and before the fight with Toxygen. Equarius is a random find in one of the lakes in the north of Tuxon. If the player wishes to catch the Pokémon, first they have to figure out what lake it's in, then they have to surf said lake until they encounter the legendary. Once Equarius is caught, the player can proceed to the Stonehenge-based area, where they'll have their final battle against Nero and against Toxygen, which has been awakened by Team Imperium.
Prior to this, it has been revealed by Brutus that Team Imperium planned on catching Equarius, but then Nero decided it was unnecessary, as he believed that the power of the resurrected Toxygen would've overpowered it. This mistake in foresight led Team Imperium to failure.

Trivia
- The unicorn, which Equarius is based on, is the symbol of Scotland. This is referred in Equarius's description, which claims that the Pokémon not only is found in the northern part of Tuxon (which is also true in the games), but that it also "seems to go further north, in another region", as Scotland is situated at the north of England, which is the region Tuxon is based on.
