Changes: Hilda and Hilbert

Hilbert and Hilda are the representations of the male and female player character that faces off against Team Buddy. Hilda is also the Buddyverse canonical protagonist of Black and White.

Appearance

Hilda is a teenage girl with long brunette hair, tied in a ponytail and looped through a baseball hat. She wears a white shirt under a black vest with cutoff jean shorts. She carries a pink bag and wears black and pink wristbands. She also wears black combat boots with pink accents.

Hilbert is a teenage boy with long brown hair that is tucked under a baseball cap. He wears a black shirt under a cyan jacket. His long black pants are tucked into red, sturdy tennis shoes. He carries a black and blue messenger bag.

Both Hilbert and Hilda wear Xtranceivers on their left wrist.

What if I Had A Pokemon Evil Team?

Hilda and Hilbert represent the female and male player character in the Evil Team video.

However, in the "What is the Buddyverse?" video, Mr. Buddy says that Hilda is the trainer—later champion—that defeated Team Plasma in Black/White. Since the player is also going through the league while facing off against Team Buddy, it's unlikely that Hilda is the canon hero of the "What If I Had a Pokémon Evil Team?" video.

Trivia

There were initially plans for Hilda to appear in the "Alolan Vacation" videos. She was going to appear with Red in a horror-styled story in Alola. This appearance was scrapped when "Alolan Vacation" was reduced to solely Cynthia's story.
Several versions of Hilda appear in the Buddyverse, each from different dimensions.

-Originally, before the progress of Team Buddy 2 was corrupted, there was to be three Hildas, which we will get into the details of from what we know based on twitter. There was supposed to be Normal, (Who is probably the one from TB 1) Evil (A Hilda from another dimension), and Buddyized (probably one of these two, I can see both filling this role.), but they were all scrapped. We went over normal Hilda, but let's go into the other two.

-Easily the sassiest of the three, Evil Hilda comes from a more evil dimension and has a californian way of speaking. Apparently, she stormed out on her 22nd birthday because she got a kantonian ponyta and not a galarian one. Also, on a side note, she is rocking the look. She has a best friend too, Evil Rosa. If you don't know, Rosa is the protagonist of BW2, so it's fitting, also Evil Rosa is a lot nicer compared to Evil Hilda.

-We don't know pretty much anything on her, except she's based on and probably is a ballroom dancer probably one of the previous two, but buddyized, and there's evidence for either side, as well as the option that she could be neither. Normal Hilda shows up in art with [[ Cynthia |Buddyized Cynthia ]] in the background, and was the original star of a horror type scrapped video that inspired Alola Vacation, with the Hau'Olu sign showing up in what's been released of it. On the other side of the spectrum, Evil Hilda would work because it shows how buddyizing completely changes a person's way of thinking. Also, if you look at the audition lines for roles, you'll find that Lillie says, "Mother? What did they do to you?" to [[Lusamine]] after she was buddyized and welcomed her daughter, so I could see this working with Evil Hilda and Evil Rosa too. But let's talk more about the actual character. Actually, that's it. We just know that she's a ballroom dancer. (I made this part up because I wanted to give her some kinda story:) When she dances, whenever someone boos her or says they hate it, she bounces over to them and kisses them so nicely on the lips, they start to talk as if they're from the 50s, and even give a standing ovation, to which she giggles. They even join Team Buddy to get closer to her. How cute! Some people say that when she giggles like that, a [[Lucid Mist|mysterious pink gas]] seems to come out of her mouth.
