Sirius and Stella are the Player Characters of Team Buddy Returns.
Appearance[]
Sirius and Stella are teenagers. Both of them wear sneakers (blue for Sirius, red for Stella). While journeying in Alola, they receive a Z-ring, which they wear on their left wrists.
Sirius has spiky brown hair and wears a visor. He wears a blue tropical shirt over a black shirt. His shorts are red and black with blue pockets, which he wears over compression shorts. He wears a pair of sunglasses around his neck and has a bright green backpack.
Stella has longer, though still a bit spiky, brown hair. She wears a large sun hat. She wears a long red tank top, decorated with a pokéball pattern, over athletic shorts. Her sunglasses are worn on her head and she has a bright green messenger bag.

- Despite coming in contact with Cynthia's snuggle hug they don't become Buddyized (though they are left dizzy). This is the first known case of a dose of Lucid Mist not being high enough to Buddyize a person.
- They are the only one who signs up for the Island Trial path of the Alola Adventure.
- Stella is more commonly represented in the scenes of Team Buddy Returns. This is most likely an artistic decision to commit to showing one protagonist consistently and not confirmation that she is the canon protagonist.
- They are notably not Alolan, but are introduced in their non-native region.
- Sirius and Stella both have astronomy-based names:
- Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky.
- Stella is the Latin word for star.
